Hotel is a building from the beginning of the XVIII century, that was restored
adapting every space to the commodities that a three star hotel requires.
It
is located at the gardens of Zubieta Palace in a historical enclave
with an extraordinary view. Stillness is one among the virtues that Zubieta
offers, since the whole hotel is surrounded by garden areas, but
just a small walk is enough to reach downtown Lekeitio.

Lekeitio has all the advantages
of a Basque coastal town, which has also managed to retain its character
and traditions, and where the narrow streets and pintxo (small typical
sandwich) bars are full of atmosphere. It has three beaches and at low
tide you can walk across to San Nicolás island. Surfing on the coast
and canoeing on the river Lea. Local excursions include the Urdaibai Nature
Reserve (Mundaka-Gernika estuary), and the villages of Bermeo, Elantxobe,
Getaria, Zarautz and Hondarribia.
