History:

The origin of the house dates back to the year 1459 when the old building was donated to the Sanctuary of Lluc by a Nobleman.  From then on and up to the 19th century, the Posada de Lluc belonged to the famous “Sanctuary of Lluc”. It was originally a retreat for monks and their students who went there there to rest after visiting the Monastry at Lluc. It was also a meeting point for pilgrims before going to the Sanctuary. But during the 19th century, the state expropiated the house and eliminated the title of religious order from the building. The house was bought privately at the beginning of the 20th Century.

In the year 2002, the ancient town house was transformed into a small and charming hotel.

Comfortable rooms with pool side view. They are decorated in white, yellow and violet shades. Each room has its own particular style and furniture. Their high ceilings with wood beams provide a more spacious atmosphere.

Pollença is, without doubt, one of the most attractive towns of the island. It can claim to be one of the original tourist destinations on the island and has been frequented by painters and artists since the beginning of the last century. Pollença offers sharp contrasts: the “Serra of Tramuntana” begins here. The mixture of pine forests, isolated grey limestone rocks, solitary coves.

The origins of Pollença date back to the middle ages, when Mallorca was still part of Al-Andalus and it was known as Bullansa.

The town has a wide range of cultural venues and events, including art galleries, handicraft shops and musical events.
