Casa
Rural Las Nubes, Rural Hotel in Albalate De Zorita |
|
Few
hotels can beat the spectacular location of Las Nubes (“The Clouds”). This
hotel consists of a modern house perched on the top of a hill with breathtaking
views of the Marqués Valley and the River Tagus. Maria Sol and Carlos
have taken advantage of this visual treasure and have created a conservatory
sitting room where nobody can deny the charm of being able to sit and enjoy
a full moon or a sunrise. Lots of natural light, excellent interior design,
neutral colours and space are the main interior décor elements.
However, nothing quite beats the views. The reception, lounge, dining room
and games room are spacious and perfectly linked....

Posada
San José, Charming Hotel in Cuenca |
|
The
Posada de San José, which was built during the XVlll century, is
situated in heart of the historic quarter of Cuenca. The building retains
its past monastic characteristics for it was the San José Choir
School which echoed to the voices of boys rehearsing masses to be sung
in the nearby cathedral. Visitors will be charmed by this unique Posada
and appreciate the harmony of decoration and its superb situation overlooking
the Huecar River Gorge. Breathtaking views can be enjoyed when taking deliciously
home-cooked evening meals or continental-style buffet breakfasts. The remarkable
position of the hotel offers a dramatic panorama of sunlight, shadows and
breathtaking scenery. All is tranquility and it is little wonder that this
intriguing, old quarter of Cuenca was designated a World Heritage Site
in 1996 ...

La
Casa del Rector, Almagro, Ciudad Real |
|
The
house dates back to the 18th century and preserves all the flavour of an
old house combined with many touches of colour. The covered central patio,
with several fountains, serves as a hallway to the bedrooms, from which
the sound of the running water can be heard. The daring use of colours
and the work carried out by local artists and cabinet makers is eye-catching.
The breakfasts are generous in helpings and quality. The hotel also has
a small wine cellar where local food products selected personally by the
owners are on display and also for sale. The El Corregidor restaurant serves
traditional La Mancha dishes and also some modern dishes....

Palacio
de la Serna, Ballesteros de Calatrava, Ciudad Real |
|
The
palace was built at the end of the XVIII century, neoclassical style in
a rationalist way. Built under a mining bonanza it later became a farm
and also the town hall. This neo-classical 18th century palace will
first surprise you with its magnificent opulence. Its current owner,
Eugenio Bermejo saw in this palace the perfect outlet for his creative
impulse as a designer. Every corner of the hotel is embellished with his
sculptures, paintings and eclectic taste in interior design. Each room
is different, huge and amusingly decorated with a touch of colour combined
with antique furniture. There is a perfect blend between the past and the
post-modern style. In summer you can cool off in the outdoor pool.....

Hotel
Cardamomo, Carabias, Sigüenza |
|
The
tiny village of Carabias hides somewhere over the endless cultivated plain
that separates Atienza from Sigüenza. Just there, surrounded by the
silence and stones of which time has taken possession, Cardadomo is located,
to recreate the warm and peaceful environment sought for by the traveller.
The hotel interweaves textures and lights from the silent countryside with
an atmosphere of interiors where music, delicate silk and velvet textiles
are the main characters. Outside we find singular spaces, such as the romantic
little square, the charming garden in the shade of a leafy fig tree, as
well as the unmistakeable country flavour of an old place from where one
can gaze at the immense arable plain trodden by Don Quixote four centuries
ago. Cardamomo combines stone, time, colours, touch, spaces, retreat and
adventure ...
